The major factions (Companions, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, mainly) have a limited number of spots to fill. All original characters need to join the faction they desire in-character, save for a few exceptions (usually, just ask us or the faction leader). Canons obviously would already be in the guild and have first rights to the slots. We will allow for these numbers for each major faction:

thieves guild - 40 total
