INEL DANESTA
nzy, nineteen, 6+ years on and off
Personality-- Probably one of the first awkward vampires you will ever meet in your life. Inel isn't exactly the best of speakers and she tends to get flustered quickly. You could say she is pretty shy, but that's not really it. She's just... embarrassed, most of the time. Most likely when you talk to Inel you'll have a little show of her fiddling with something, looking down, stammering on her words, and probably tripping at some point. On top of it all, she tends to say weird things that don't make much sense. She babbles.... constantly. Inel will make it her job to try and say little but sometimes she simply can't help it. She's a bit of a free spirit and a bit to bubbly and air-headed for a Thieves Guild Vampire but hey, you are who you are. History-- Born in the third era, Inel lead a fairly simple and relaxed life in Valenwood, as most Bosmer did at the time under the ruling of the Thalmor. In those days, Inel found herself pretty alone most of the time, as her parents would always be traveling and selling enchanted jewelry while she would watch the house. This was probably where her awkwardness blossomed. Inel never spent much time talking to other people. Instead she would entertain herself with hanging onto danger. She was never much of a goodie two shoe type of kid and tended to get herself into trouble when her parents WERE around. Even in her more human days, she was becoming a master fisher so young. Her life was carefree and she knew she was happy. Sure, she wished she spent more time with her parents, learning the trade and all, but being home suit her fancy. She couldn't really complain. One night in her 13th year, Inel found herself outside. She was heading to her favorite clearing where the flowers were large and rich. It was a perfect place to watch the Aurora Lights that night. When she reached the clearing, however, there was a boy there. He was probably a handful of years older than her-- 18 to say the least. He was handsome and had a gentle face about him. Dark curled hair like her own and golden brown eyes that seemed to hold all the light of the sky. Upon seeing him, Inel felt instantly embarrassed. She didn't know weather to turn around and run home or to try and talk to this boy. Before she even came to a decision he spotted her and only smiled the sweetest smile she had ever seen. Caius was his name, and he was elegant and princely. Inel felt so uncomfortable with him, she knew she probably made a fool of herself but she couldn't help but want to stay near him. It felt... right, being with him. He was the nicest person she ever met and he had so many stories to tell. He was a thief type, just like herself and seemed to love framing people and the like. He was similar to her and Inel felt she finally found herself a great friend. It wasn't like that for Caius however, he was falling in love with her quickly... obsessed with this fragile flower of a girl. They remained friends for a couple more year though, fishing pockets together and always outside adventuring. Caius taught her so much about plants and magic, types of people and politics. He was so smart, so wise beyond his years that it was a bit unheard of. Their days together were full of fun and excitement-- peaceful. Then the war hit, and things seemed to take a strange turn. Valenwood was being over run by an undead army, apparently there was some sort of corruption in the Thalmor Courts. Inel was in her 15th year and packing her things with her parents. They had planned on taking her away to the province of Cyrodiil. This news didn't settle well with Caius when Inel told him she was leaving. At first Inel was upset, she didn't want to be separated from her friend, but something in him was changing-- he started acting weird. Caius asked her how she felt about eternal life. She hadn't understood, but she felt that all things live in a cycle, you live and you die and your soul carries on into a new life. Her answer didn't process though Caius though. He took it as she accepted immortality rather than, she thought she should live out her life by growing old. He had took her into his arms and held her face so that she would look at him. Inel just about had a heart attack, but all Caius said was that he loved her dearly and he would make her his. From that point, everything went black. When Inel woke up, she was in a cave. However she noticed right away that her senses were sharpened. It was night time but she could see like it was day. She didn't understand where she was or why her throat was burning with fire every time she swallowed. Something was terribly wrong, she could feel it immediately. That was when Caius showed himself to her and explained everything. He told her he had made her into someone like him-- a Vampire. She would have to feed off of blood to survive and stay out of the day. Inel was appalled, she didn't know what to do but cry. She felt so cold, and suddenly life didn't seem so bright. Why had Caius done this to her? She thought they were friends. She asked him this repeatedly but his only answer was that he couldn't allow "those people" to take her away from him. He didn't want her to travel away with her parents. He kept telling her that he loved her, and they would now live together forever. He wanted to make Inel his eternal wife. She couldn't accept. She was scared and suddenly she felt more alone than ever. She was a monster now and she couldn't go back to her home in Valenwood, she couldn't see her parents ever again. Most of all she was afraid of Caius. The man she thought she knew so well sudden looked like a murderer. If he could take her life from her, what else could he do? Inel was so frightened at the possibilities of her new life with him... in this manner. The only thing she could think to do was run. She ran away from him, but he followed her. It wasn't until Inel found a hunk of wood and knocked the boy out that she got a further distance from him. For years they played a game of cat and mouse. Everywhere she went, he would be there in a short time. Inel knew her life to be nothing but running, and fishing and stealing to survive in her new world. There were times where she lost herself and gave into the hunger of a vampire. It all made her sad, she didn't like herself this way at all at first. But as years went on and she learned to control herself, she learned to except her fate. It was part of her now. And she was stuck until somehow her soul found death. Inel had lost Cauis somewhere in Cyrodiil, and from there Inel knew nothing but wandering. She learned a lot on her travels, but kept herself out of the spotlight in case Caius was close by. In Cyrodiil Inel learned a bit of the trade and adapted to their way of life, though like other Wood Elves in the state she was discriminated against for a short while. Inel was beginning to lose track of years but at some point the High Elves had not only made alliance with Wood Elves but when the Imperials as well. Life was beginning to look failure again. Inel felt safer with this imperial side and was soon accepted into society. Inel stayed in Cyrodiil for a few decades but kept moving North. Around her 90th year as a vampire Inel had traveled all of Cyrodiil and visited most of Morrowind. She bore witness to the war between the Argonians and the Dark Elves but did not take part. She just kept herself moving and defended herself whenever harm came her way. That was rarely, Inel was very good at hiding. About 3 years later, Inel found herself entering Skyrim near the Hold of Riften. Stopping into Riften she heard of nothing but some Thieves Guild ruining peoples lives. Apparently this organization was falling apart from the rumors that she heard. At this time Inel's life took another turn when she tried to fish from the wrong person. Brynjolf was certainly not the person to try fishing from, but Inel didn't know who he was. To her he was in Fine clothes and looked rich. She figured she could take some coin from him and stop by the inn for rest. She almost succeeded too but he caught her. "Soft paws, lass, but you got to tie that hair back. It gave you away." he told her. Even so, he liked her spirit and the two got to talking a bit. She wasn't comfortable telling him her story but he seemed to accept her and offered her to place in the Thieves Guild. He figured she was a good investment if she's been fishing for so long. Apparently some guy named Delvin would like her a lot. She agreed and started working for the Guild. It's been 7 years and Inel hasn't seen Caius at all. Right now she still works for the Guild and is beginning to enjoy her life again. | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,border-radius: 0px 0px 20px 20px;] Character Name. Inel Danesta Age. Eternally Fifteen for 100 years now. Race. Bosmer Sexuality. Heterosexual Faction, Army, or Allegiance. The Thieves Guild Occupation. Fisher (Pickpocket) Werewolf or Vampire. Vampire Major Skills. Pickpocket-- The softest touch in Skyrim, Inel takes pride in her ability to slip things in and out of your pockets. She is hardly ever noticeable and has become the Guild's go-to-girl for fishing assignments. It's her specialty believe it or not. If you're looking to steal or frame someone she's your girl. Lock Picking-- With that soft touch of hers, Inel has found that lock picking comes easy too. She rarely breaks a pick and most of the expert locks open easily at her hands. It's not exactly her strong suit, as she doesn't tend to pick a lock unless she's needed, but she's sharpened her skills to get the job done as quickly as possible. After all, she's had a lifetime of practice. Sneak-- Inel is working with instinct on this one. Her vampire blood makes her a natural hunter and that being said makes her know how to hide and stalk fairly well. This has gotten her pretty far in the Thieves guild as well, obviously. When Inel was human though, she had a strange obsession with playing hide-and-seek.... maybe this was where it originated. Archery-- Her weapon of choice is definitely a bow-- in fact she loves her bow to death. With her steady hands and her keen vampire sight she is sort of like a medieval sniper to say the least. More than likely you'll find that her arrows are tainted with one type of stamina poison or another. If not, the bow's stamina enchantment is sure to take you down. Weapons, Armor, and Belongings. Elven Bow of Harvesting (Takes Stamina) Any arrows she can gather. Elven Dagger Full Thieves Guild Armor (minus the hood) Stamina Poisons |
