Brynjolf

[atrb=border,0,true] He's the only man in Skyrim with that accent, and the way he says "lass" has made half of the female populace fall in love with him. Don't get the wrong idea, though. Brynjolf wants your coin and your valuables first- everything else comes second. The easiest way to be his friend is to be a fellow thief and/or criminal, and to not be incompetent. But hey, Brynjolf also needs contacts, allies, rivals, and enemies. He's more than happy to joke around with and get to know the other thieves in the guild, even the footpads. He's yet to show interest in anyone, male or female; MAYBE that will change, but he's much more into gold and business than he is finding romance.

Najela is only really nice to people who earn her respect; being her friend is kind of a miracle, but she's likely to have plenty of people who don't like her. She's a loyal friend if you can wriggle your way into that position, and honestly, she's pretty fun to be around when she's not insulting you or trying to shoot you in the face. She's not actively looking for a romance, but that's mainly because she doesn't think anyone would be interested. Why look for something that's never going to happen when she can spend her time doing more useful things?

Brynjolf and Sapphire

Uneasy is an understatement- as far as Bryn is concerned, taking private contracts is the same as cutting the guild out of rightful business. Unfortunately the guild needs the people more at the moment and Brynjolf can't justify throwing Sapphire out on her arse. Yet.

But yes, he is definitely going to be keeping an eye on her. Especially now that she's been hired by Ulfric. For now I can see Bryn trying to keep Sapphire around as much as possible (let's not give Mr. Stormcloak any ideas, he's not Maven) and probably assigning her as many local jobs as he can scrounge up. I imagine fights between them to be often +D

WHAT IS THIS "FRIENDS" YOU SPEAK OF. Bahaha, I can see the two of them bonding over a shared love of Ulfric/Brynjolf torture. Especially since it seems the two men are going to be fighting over both women, so the two of them can bond by sitting back and fueling the flames a little. If all goes well Windhelm and Riften will be at war within the month.

I can see the two of them maybe tripping over each other's feet in the beginning, though. Maybe shoving one another into snowbanks or plates of food...etc.
