Having been gone for more time than she would like after being led on a wild goose chase, Astrid had obtained a hunger for her husband that wouldn't be tempered by the mead she was now drinking. While it tasted good on her lips, it wasn't his taste, and that just annoyed her. Glaring down at the tankard in frustration, she growled low in the back of her throat. Despite having been riding for hours on end and not getting much sleep, she didn't feel tired. No, she felt full of life and ready for a few rounds of wrestling matches with her husband - ones that didn't end in a knock out. With that in mind, Astrid brought the tankard to her lips and took another drink before lowering it again. With her wrist resting on the back of the chair and her arm hanging over, she had pulled a leg up on her wooden chair and was relaxing like that. If one could call what she was doing relaxing. Astrid was more agitated and restless than relaxed, but there was nothing she could do about that until her husband came home. Hopefully no one bothered her until then - or after then - and hopefully he got back soon. If she knew him at all, he'd be feeling the same way as she was. While waiting, to entertain her thoughts, Astrid started thinking about the bigger contracts she'd obtained recently. A few of them would take the cooperation with everyone in the brotherhood to accomplish, but in the end it would definitely be worth it's weight in gold. Things had been somewhat run down lately, to that she would admit. Her goal was to bring the Brotherhood to it's former glory and beyond, so that when someone heard their name, they would get on their knees and send a prayer to Sithis. It would be accomplished alright...soon. {NOTES} This didn't take me fifty million years to get up at all...I'm sorry u.u |
