~~i don’t care if i lose my mind, i’m already cursed~~ They must have looked a strange sight on the way to Dragon's Bridge. The slight female soldier stopping to pick flowers, while her two companions glowered at travelers on the road. As much as Adrielle complained that her constant companions were incapable of helping her blend in, she really did nothing for herself. No self-respecting solderess would have been caught dead stopping to pick flowers on the road side. But Adrielle was not a soldier. She was just barely a woman and out of Solitude. Finally! For the first time. She was among the mountains of Skyrim instead of staring at the fortress like walls of the capitol. The air here was fresher, softer, and she could not help but feeling a bit like running down the path shouting. Of course her leather boots were hardly comfortable for running. But still the desire was there. When they reached the town her companions first plan was to stop at the Four shields tavern. They took up positions on either side of the door as Adrielle began investigating the tavern. The Bards college made that aspect of the tavern less interesting, but she stopped and asked him to play Ragnar the Red anyway. It was really her favorite of the songs she heard from the bards. She walked cautiously around the tavern before ordering a drink. A Bottle of Nord mead seemed appropriate. Though it earned a sever look from her companions. She collected her bottle, and sat near the fire in the center of the room. Skryim was much colder than Cyrodiil. They could have fires all the time. It had not been so at the palace back home. It was one thing about Skyrim she found to be better at any rate. ~~word count - 292. tag - open . outfit - click .~~

WHEN YOU FEEL MY HEARTlook into my eyesIT'S WHERE MY DEMONS HIDE The air was a bit cold in Skyrim today. What time was it even? Had the sun gone down, where the birds going to sleep? All of these things Hope wasn't sure of. They were things that seemed a bit trivial for a blind girl. However if she did pay attention to the level of heat against her snow fox hide she would assume that night was falling. The air seemed heavier and the sounds of the wild were starting to die off, but had not completely disappeared. Maybe it was around late afternoon. Under her face mask, her lips only managed a slight twitch. Maybe she should find shelter for the night. After all, she HAD been traveling for a while now. She wasn't even really sure how long exactly she was traveling but judging the slight pressure in her feet it was a long time.
Hope paused a moment to listen to what was around her. Very faintly she could hear some people mingling quite a distance away. There were cows mooing and some armor clanking on the ground. She must have been hear a small town. "Convenient..." Hope acknowledged to herself. Not bad, for traveling blindly for about an hour. She had used her Clairvoyance for most of her trip and just recently her magicka had run out. This last hour she had spent walking completely blind. Now wasn't an issue, she had plenty of mana to use now. She lifted her hand slightly and curled her fingers up, blind irises accurately watching a ball of blue fire hover in the air and sink into the soil as she cast Clairvoyance. In her minds eye, everything had been black. With this spell cast, she could see a trail of blue fire leading her to where she wanted to go-- an inn. The trail of fire wasn't that long, perhaps less than a mile, and she could see a cluster of water like blue ripples in her vision that outlined objects far away. Hope could identify a few buildings and people ahead of her. A faint emotionless smile crawled onto her lips and she followed her magical path to the inn.
Once she entered the small town, she followed the strange pattern the blue fire made. It was going up, making about 4 rectangles-- indicating stairs. Hope climbed them effortlessly and pressed her small hands up against hard wood. She blinked curiously then looked down at her fire. The path had stopped and she had reached her destination. Her hands gently probed the door, searching for a handle to open when a light hand found her shoulder, "Do you need help dear?" the voice was female, and a little old. Hope turned her head in the direction of the voice and nodded absently. A moment later, another hand grasped hers and Hope could hear the inn's door creek open. The hand tugged at her slightly and she followed the old woman willingly.

~~i don’t care if i lose my mind, i’m already cursed~~ Adrielle was very familiar with the sounds of her guard tensing. The carless and mostly clueless young royal frequently found herself in trouble, and they had quickly learned that it was better to prepare themselves than to be suprised when she was attacked, or fell down a well, or got stuck in any number of other odd situations. The noise of her two large companions' over protective and immediate preparations for the worst hardly bothered her any more. Had it not been for the sound of the door opening as well, she would not have glanced over and seen the older woman leading what must have been her granddaughter in to the tavern. "Two more." She said softly, setting the coin on the counter for the bar tender, and collecting the bottles moved quickly across the tavern to the old woman and the girl. Addie was not going to be an empress, and her actions only could do so much for their family, especially as she was forbidden to tell anyone who she was outside of Solitude, for her own safety. With the civil war going on it was difficult to trust anyone. But she was going to do her best, while out in the lands of Skryim to be kind to her people. Especially elderly women with blind children. As the woman seemed to be leading the girl towards a bench, Adrielle approached slowly. "Here. I have Mead to share. If you would like. I'm…" She paused briefly, as her guards tensed again believing she was about to slip up. But she did not. "I'm Addie."~~word count - 267. tag - Hope . outfit - click .~~

WHEN YOU FEEL MY HEARTlook into my eyesIT'S WHERE MY DEMONS HIDE Hope wasn't exactly sure where this woman was leading her, but she could feel a strange sense of emotion from her. It was odd, the emotion was unfamiliar to Hope but she felt she could place it. It was a soft feeling, warm and swirling like summer wind. Hope's eyes shifted to her hand where she could feel the warmth coming from. It was as if this old woman loved her, cared for her. She could feel her lips twitching slightly at her own discomfort. How does one react to a strangers love? With gratitude? If anything, Hope could of gotten herself into the inn without any help.
"Have a seat right here, love." the old woman told her. Hope paused a moment, measuring the nudges the woman pressed against her and reluctantly sat down. "Thank you," Hope's unemotional tone chimed softly. Her voice was barely above a whisper and sounded fairly indifferent. The woman fell quiet then, and Hope could sense a new air approaching. It was like a shift in gravity. Hope suddenly thought of animals and how they could sense danger merely by feeling a shift in the air around them, or a very subtle sound. A light voice graced her ears then, just as footsteps stopped beside her seat. Hope hadn't noticed the sound of moving before, it was like background noise to her.
It was a young girl's voice, possibly a few years older than Hope, but just from the tone Hope could tell the girl wasn't exactly "her age". The sweet bell sound of this girl's voice indicated a naive mind, someone carefree and typically saw beautiful things in the world. A rare soul to come by. Hope turned her head in the direction the girl's voice was coming from, her cloudy eyes looking at the girl's face without seeing her. She forced a pleasant smile on her face as the girl introduced herself as "Addie" and seemed to be offering mead to them. "I'm Grace," the old woman informed and gently patted Hope on the shoulder, "I ran into this child outside. Poor thing couldn't find the inn." Hope made a face at this comment, "What is your name, Love?"
Hope looked at the ground, "My name is Hope." her voice sounded so flat, "And I did not need assistance. If anything, your actions directed me to my location faster than my own method." The old woman stared at Hope baffled, shock flashing in her face. She wasn't sure what to say, but it was clear by her face that she really thought Hope needed help. Hope only waved her hand and smiled, "Do not take my statement to heart, I thank you for your help." There was another moment of silence, Hope thought she head the old woman grab the cup of mead from Addie but she wasn't entirely sure. The sound made her remember the girl hadn't moved so Hope turned her attention back to her. "Would you please tell me where we are?" Hope asked, her tone still flat and emotionless.

~~i don’t care if i lose my mind, i’m already cursed~~ Either the woman was not the girls grandmother. Or perhaps she was and was just going senile. Her own grandfather frequently confused her two brothers. The emperor was hardly senile, and confusing two grandsons hardly made it easy to tell them apart in their uniforms, which they look more presentable in. Addie looked like a child playing in her mother's dresses, except that the dress was a soldier's armor, something she doubted her mother had ever worn. Addie would have rather traveled in her usual dress and extra guard, but this was easier for them she supposed. The more subtle she was the less she would be in danger. Sadly, subtle was hardly Adrielle's way. "We are quite honored to meet you, Hope, of the Bretons? I presume." Because of her small stature of course. Her own method would be some sort of magic she could only guess, exepcially if the girl were breton. They were quite a magical people. It was the traces of Mer in their people's blood so it was said. They claimed parts of Skryim with their Forsworn, supposedly. She feared any sort of confrontation, but would have much loved to see them, just once. She heard they were not but barbarians. "We are in the tavern at Dragon's Bridge, near Solitude. It is a most lovely little town. Except the big bridge, I find it most obtrusive, honestly. They could have at least made it less fearsome. Though then I suppose it would not frighten invaders or barbarrians would it." ~~word count - 261. tag - hope . outfit - click .~~
